Here's what people are saying about Central Coast Community Acupuncture...

"I discovered acupuncture through two friends who had been regular patients at Central Coast Community Acupuncture.  Both had joint problems and expressed that they got good pain relief from the treatments.  I had rheumatoid arthritis in my hip and was in constant pain so I set an appointment to give it a try.  I had decided in advance to have three treatments to see if there was any relief.  To my amazement, the relief began after two treatments.  By the third I was nearly pain free and walking without a limp.

I found that I could get several treatments and go without for a few weeks and, when the pain returned, I would go back for another course of treatment.  It works.  It’s great.  If you’re hesitant, don’t be, give it a try.  The cost is reasonable, the treatment does not hurt, and the results, for me, were miraculous.

I’m 65 and work every day.  It was nice to get pleasant and relaxing help in a caring atmosphere.  You don’t have to disrobe; there’s no embarrassment.  Just relax for 45 minutes listening to light music.  I recommend acupuncture to anyone who lives with pain and I most highly recommend Coast Community Acupuncture Clinic."   -Ken

"It wasn't until I was out of other options that I saw Erica at CCCA. I have a herniated disc and have already had two back surgeries. I had horrible pain radiating down my leg. My surgeon said he did not want to do another surgery and told me I would have to live with the pain. Several friends had mentioned acupuncture so I figured I'd give it a try.

After only a few treatments, and just over a week I was feeling better. 9 months have passed and with regular treatments every few weeks I don't even notice my disc problems.

Several times I've gone in for treatment and mentioned other problems to Erica, including congestion, headaches, and muscle tightness. Each time she is able to dull or eliminate my symptoms. Acupuncture has greatly improved my quality of life."  -Sarah

"I have been a semi regular client for much of 2013, referred by my physical therapist.  The clinic is a comfortable pleasant setting for treatment.  I particularly enjoy the peaceful music and coziness of the rooms.

I have gained relief from a long standing discomfort in my upper back and continue to resolve the soreness in my deltoid.  Generally I fall fast asleep almost as soon as the needles are in, and awake relaxed and much more comfortable.

I have been acupunctured at a doctor's office in the past.  Central Coast Community Acupuncture has provided greater relief and less discomfort at the time of treatment.
Thank you for being available in Newport!"

"I have been going to Central Coast Community Acupuncture periodically since January 2013.  It took me years to get my nerve up to get acupuncture due to my phobia of needles.

I have not had any bad experiences with Erica, and the atmosphere in her rooms is very soothing and relaxing. Sometimes, I even fall asleep with the needles in, and Erica wakes me when it is time to leave.

My phobia is by no means gone, but I am able to get multiple treatments per month. My arthritis in my big toes is gone now."

"I can't believe how great acupuncture is! The pain in my knee is a tiny fraction of what it was. For less than 10% of the cost of going the route prescribed by my primary care clinic. I would likely not have tried acupuncture if not for your sliding scale, Erica. THANK YOU for what you do for our community! I'm a believer!  You make life better for so many of us!"  -Jet

"Fantastic acupuncturist! I could not have asked for a better first time experience."  -Alycia

"The setting is a nice mix of clean and professional and relaxing - fine balance. I brought a family member and they were treated respectfully. Fees are amazing - it makes returning possible. We are seeing improvement. Alot of education is included in sessions. Thank you."  -Marie

"I am really glad Central Coast Community Acupuncture is here in Newport! It's affordable enough that I can go as often as necessary, and Erica has helped me so much with heel pain and various other problems over the past three years. I like the open setting- it's very comfortable and friendly."  -Carol

"About a year and a half ago I went to my doctor because I wasn't feeling good and hadn't been feeling good for quite some time. She did blood work that revealed I had an auto immune disease. The course of treatment that was suggested was not ok with me. I told the doctor to give me 6 months. I knew I wanted to deal with this problem naturally. I knew with prayer, a proper diet and acupuncture I could turn this situation around. I immediately made an appointment with Erica at Central  Coast Community Acupuncture. I followed Erica's recommendations and made the commitment to go once a week for 8 to 10 weeks. Long story short, when I went back to the doctor and had my blood work done again, the doctor said" I don't know what you are doing but your blood work is amazing. I don't recommend that you do anything other than what you have been doing!" I know that acupuncture played a key role in that. The fact the Erica does payments on a sliding scale makes it affordable for everyone and there are no time limits for how long you are there. If you want to be in the chair for 30 minutes that's great and if you want to be there for several hours that is great too. I have been to see Erica for everything from sleepless nights, headaches, stress, allergies and problems with my feet. I believe that there isn't anything acupuncture can't help. To be able to lay back in a big comfy chair and tune the world out and relax, is well worth the money spent, but it is so much more than that. In my body, acupuncture has created balance, relaxation and helped my body to be able to heal itself. If you are wondering about acupuncture, in my opinion, it is well worth doing. It is a quality decision that can change your life for the better. Central Coast Community Acupuncture is more than affordable, has convenient hours and is run by someone (Erica) who goes above and beyond."   -Donna Marie

"My husband and I first encountered community acupuncture in Portland and we are so glad to have Erica and her wonderful clinic here in Newport.

Acupuncture is relaxing, healing and calming -- especially at Central Coast Community Acupuncture.  There are all sorts of folks at this clinic who want to feel better, and all of that good energy is part of every treatment.  The rooms are warm, calm and comfortable, as are the chairs and recliners.  If you are tall, small, wide or narrow, there is someplace relaxing to sit and receive care.

What about the needles?  For me, it's no worse than a mosquito bite; the more treatment you receive, the more you'll become accustomed to it.  I am squeamish at best around needles and I'm comfortable just closing my eyes and trusting Erica.

We are able to obtain treatment whenever needed with the sliding scale payment structure -- no questions asked.  When we are able to pay more, we do.  Erica is patient, skillful and flexible.  Each treatment is customized to the concerns and issues of the moment.

Community acupuncture is an affordable, approachable way to feel better, whether it's your allergies, your achy joints or need for stress relief.  We see Erica every week - it's that good!" -D&J
